Rajiv Gupta has so far serviced over 9,000 LIC policies, achieved the Top ten position in the country in the year 1999-2000 on sum assured and qualified for Court of the Table Two times in a row within a short period of a little over a decades time besides bagging several other credits that could be the envy of any LIC agent. An ambitious commerce graduate and a licentiate from the Insurance Institute of India Rajiv Gupta banked on his strong financial acumen and keen sense of foresight to introduce revolutionary ways in insurance selling to suit the individual’s changing financial needs.
A strong proponent of the ‘need based financial planning’ concept, Rajiv Gupta’s hard work and sincere efforts bore fruits sooner than expected. In the year 1992-93 he was the first in North Zone to have sold a mega policy worth Rs 50 lakh on a single life.
His dedication to his work brought him many laurels. He hit a first in Delhi division and featured among the first top 15 agents all over the country for acquiring maximum business in addition to qualifying for the All India ACE Agents Convention. He became a Chairman’s Club member, an honour that few select individuals have been bestowed with.
With a single-minded obsession to further spread the scope of his business he set up an office with around 5 highly qualified personnel. Placing high emphasis on customer service. He provided his staff latest gizmos to ease client interaction.
Come 1993-94 and he qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table, the premier association of the world’s top sales professionals in the life insurance business.
Thereafter in 1995-96 and 1996-97 he qualified the All India Ace Agents Convention.
A workaholic by nature, his professional attitude, aggressiveness and strong urge to reach the top.
In 1998-99 he achieved the top ten positions in the country on sum assured basis and the following year stood number three in the Delhi Division on Premium basis.
What’s more! In 2000-2001 Rajiv Gupta stood first in the Delhi Division on first premium basis and qualified for Million Dollar Round Table which gave him an opportunity to attend the M.D.R.T’s annual meet at U.S.A. Thereafter in 2001-2002 Rajiv Gupta qualified for Top of the Table.
Besides being an insurance agent par excellence Rajiv Gupta is also a renowned speaker having delivered lectures at STC, ZTC, Life Insurance Round Table and LIC All India Meet. He set up an office, which was inaugurated by the then LIC Delhi Divisional Manager Shri Sharma. Rajiv Gupta has come a long way and the journey has not been without his share of hiccups.
